First time I’ve ever put a desktop up for download on my site. You can find it here at 1920×1200!
Seeing as I currently don’t have a reliable internet connection I’m going to dump the past few days worth of images in one post.
Shot out of the car on a trip downtown.
Awesome. Awesomeness everywhere.
It’s sort of getting to the point where I can no longer do touristy things in the city. Which is good, because now I can absorb myself in car culture here.
LA is a big place. In fact, it’s probably the biggest place I’ve ever been. I like it!
On Saturday I had the pleasure of going with Drew to a Honda Element meet in Costa Mesa. It was pretty rad. These guys love the hell out of their cars and I can see why – the Element is a really cool little platform to tune, but it doesn’t get a massive amount of aftermarket support. I’m not sure why because I love these things.
There’s so much car porn in the hotel. Alas, I’m back in LA now, where everyone drives stuff like this. So I’ll just have to take my camera everywhere now.
I also, FINALLY, had the pleasure of meeting people I’ve been working with for years yesterday. Best trip ever.
I honestly didn’t expect my hotel lobby to have two really cool cars – a Ford GT40 and a Shelby Cobra.
Apparently there’s a car show going on somewhere near me, so today I’m gonna try and find some automotive eye candy.
What a trip!
I slept for ages last night and I’m still exhausted. A quick trip up to Hollywood to drop off my bags and now I’m in Costa Mesa for WyrdCon. Chaos isn’t even a good enough word.
I don’t think there are many plane flights where you can see glaciers and fjords in Greenland, and then see mesas in Nevada and Utah. America is wonderful.
I have a feeling that even though I’m over for something like 6 weeks, I’m still only going to scratch the surface.
