The moon looked awesome tonight.

The BDC wasn’t the only thing that happened last weekend. I also ended up at an aquarium on Friday morning.

So this shot is just badass on many levels.

Two of the biggest pictures I’ve ever taken. Easily big enough to cover a wall and still not lose quality. Insane!

Both are from the waterfalls at Loweswater, climbed all the way up. With a bag of camera gear on your back it gets pretty hairy…

So seeing as the scans from the professional looked compressed to hell, I thought I’d better see what I could do. Put the film on the window, flipped my 50mm and took a quick shot.

Not professional, but better. Higher resolution (6000 width compared to 1500), no compression, more detail, more soul.
